Gaitana entered the jury on the 12 th Charity Children's Festival "The Black Sea Games"
In August, 2010 The XII Ukrainian Charity Children's Festival «The Black Sea Games» was held in SKADOVSK
Traditionally, the festival divided in two parts - singing contest and the contest of dance performances. Over 1200 children took part in the competition program of «The Black Sea Games», during the festival they had demonstrated their creative talents. More than a thousand children, vacationing in Skadovsk were involved in the carnival and festival related events.
Celebrities of the Ukrainian show business worked like the jury of the festival , among them - singer Gaitana and CEO of Ukrainian Music Holding LAVINA Edward Klim.
Edward Klim, CEO of Ukrainian Music Holding, music producer: «This year the festival was great. 49 singers and 24 dance groups – it’s a huge number. It was very interesting and difficult also to be the jury member at such bright children's festival. For myself I've already decided who my favorites are. I will observe their creative development even after competition».
This year Gaitana was in the jury of the "Black Sea Games", also she was a gueast star. On the main stage of the festival she performed the songs from her children's album "Kookaburra" with competitors.
Gaitana: «Children know and sing the songs from the album " Kookaburra" all over Ukraine. It's nice that these songs are funny and relevant to the «Black Sea Games». When I was on the stage with children who sing my songs, I realize that the work I had done is not in vain. I decided to continue the work with children and to record «Kookaburra 2». Nowadays children need a very modern music».
Statistically, the final two days – the 14th and 15th of August - "Black Sea Games" gathered over 70 thousand spectators.
