Gaitana was born in Kyiv and after 5 she lived in the Congo.
Real name is Gaitana Lurdes.
She has a brother, Dengandr. He lives together with father in the Congo.
Gaitana’s mother is Tatyana, who is incredibly clever with her needle. She always has creative ideas about how to design new clothes.
Grandmother (Lidiya) is a soul of party. She has unbelievably beautiful voice, play accordion, is friendly and smiles all the time.
Father (Essami Klaver) – strict, but fair person.
Gaitana’s family dreams:

Sport
Sport is an integral part of Gaitana’s life. The artist likes fair team game, excitement and purposefulness.

- Tennis (Gaitana became a Candidate to Master of Sport in table tennis. She dreamed to become a coach);
- Badminton;
- Squash;
- Jumps on a trampoline;
- Cycling in the forest or on the bank of the Dnieper River

Music (interesting facts)
1. Grandmother from Gaitana’s childhood taught her to play accordion and to sing Ukrainian and Russian national songs.
2. Gaitana’s professional music career began when she was 12 years old in child band “Altana”.
3. She wrote her first song at the age of 13, when she fell in love with 18-year-old student from Vladivostok.
4. Gaitana is an author of all her songs. The artist records her music ideas on the dictaphone.
5. Gaitana learns to play saxophone. She dreams of using this instrument in her concert activity.
6. Gaitana writes and produces music for children and she would like to organize children’s music festival “Kukabarra”.

Gaitana is a socially active personality, who is of great interest to solving social problems, she is always eager to help those, who are needy. The artist actively supports children’s creativity; she writes songs for kids, records her compositions with young talents and releases music collections of children songs.

Gaitana and children
Project “kukabarra” – music album, created by Gaitana together with talented kids. The collection is devoted to the topics, which are rather popular among girls and boys of different ages. Gaitana isn’t only the author of compositions, but also co-producer of the album.
“Kukabarra – Champion” is the second children’s album, which is going to be presented at the end of spring. The collection will be devoted to sport subjects and Euro 2012.
Very soon Gaitana will launch new web-site “Kukabarra”, where talented kids will be able to find interesting information, read popular news, download child sound records and also participate in extraordinary contests and fight for prizes from Gaitana.

- Cookery ( from the age of 12 she cuts and collects recipes);
- Travelling (Favourite place of vacation - Hawaii, Gaitana collects albums of world music).
